A real browser runs your searches with the location pinned to your town, records the top ten organic results and the three map-pack businesses, and draws the chart. Google shows a Chilliwack searcher a different page than it shows someone in Abbotsford or Langley. Most rank tracking software buys results from a data centre and reports one number. RankTrack pins every search to your city with personalization off, so the position on your chart is the one a customer there actually sees, map pack included.
📈 A chart, not a promise
Every term gets a two-panel chart: your organic position on a scale of 1 to 10, and your map-pack slot on a scale of 1 to 3, with a marked row for the days you were not there. The same chart can be embedded on your own website, live, so your customers see the measurement too.
✍️ Content pinned to the term it targets
On the content plan, two local pieces a month are written for the exact searches you want to win, published to your site and your Google Business Profile once you approve them, and pinned to the term on the chart. You see cause and effect, not an activity report.
How the measuring works
A Chrome browser on a computer in our Abbotsford office runs each search, eight to twelve minutes apart through the day, the way a person would. It records the ten organic results and the three businesses in the map pack, and nothing else. Daily terms are checked every day; weekly terms once a week. A gap in the line means we looked and you were not there, never that we did not look. Google only shows ten results per page now, so a position outside the top ten is reported as "not in the top 10" rather than invented.
That slow, honest method limits how many searches one browser can run in a day, which is why the plan starts at fifteen terms per location, three of them daily. Fifteen is enough to run a local business on. Need more? Extra terms are $4 a month each checked weekly, or $8 checked daily, with no upper limit; we add browsers and connections as clients add terms.
